Shire Heydon 7×2 Wooden Greenhouse

The Heydon is a very practical lean to greenhouse which will provide all the advantages of a timber greenhouse in a compact design. The Heydon will make a feature of a plain wall as well as being a great asset if you “Grow Your Own”.   It is manufactured with high grade pine, 34 x 58 mm framing. The greenhouse is glazed with toughened glass and has two sets of double doors for very convenient access. The roof can be opened on a hot day to provide excellent ventilation. As usual with a greenhouse, no floor is supplied and the greenhouse sits on a pressure treated base rail. The wooden components have been dipped with a base coat preservative ready for you to top coat to your own preference. Assembly instructions included.

Care information

Before you assemble your building, you will need a base which is flat and level to a sufficient size. Grass, soil or gravel are not sufficient as they will move with the weight of a building.
When siting, allowance should be made for the roof overhang and for access around the outside during construction and subsequent treatment.
All products are guaranteed for 1 year from delivery, additionally the products will have a 10 year rot resistance guarantee. Both elements of the guarantee require compliance with the manufacturers guidelines for assembly, usage and regular preservative treatment. These conditions are made clear in the company’s assembly instructions.
